Ovcha kupel

Coordinates: 42°40′59″N 23°14′35″E / 42.68306°N 23.24306°E / 42.68306; 23.24306Ovcha Kupel (Bulgarian: Овча Купел) is a district^[1] located in the south-western parts of Sofia. As of 2006^[update] it has 47,380 inhabitants. It is located at 6 km to the south-west of the City centre.

The district is home of Slavia Sofia, one of the oldest football clubs in the country with a 30,000 stadium. The New Bulgarian University with more than 7,000 students is situated there. There are 9 schools and 5 chitalishta. Sheep fonts is one of the western suburbs of Sofia. It consists of three parts: Sheep fonts 1,2 and old part. For fonts Sheep 1 and 2 is typical of pre-fabricated building complex housing a series of Bs-69-SF-MC-83 as well as blocks built in system large-area formwork. The district is situated 6 km from the city center. A mini park for walks and children's amusement park. There is a shopping center with a variety of goods and services. After several days the sheep recovered from this area and was named the "bathing sheep - Sheep Fonts.
