Mamadou Zare

Mamadou Zare

Mamadou Zare (died 4 May 2007) was an Ivorian football manager and coach of Burkinabe origin. During his playing career he played for ASEC Mimosas and the Côte d'Ivoire national football team. He began his managerial career with Sabé Sports de Bouna in 1993 before moving onto ASEC in 1995. He also coached Stade d'Abidjan, Séwé Sports de San Pedro and Issia Wazi, and was the assistant coach of Burkino Faso at the 1998 African Cup of Nations, supporting Philippe Troussier in his role. He died on 4 May 2007 after a long illness.
