Paul Martin was an Irish soccer player during the 1970s.

He signed for Shamrock Rovers in 1968 where after a season in the reserves he was promoted to the first team. He was released on a free transfer in June 1972 by then manager Liam Touhy and moved to Bohemian F.C. where he made 1 appearance in European competition against FC Cologne in the UEFA Cup.

After one season at Dalymount Park he signed for Athlone Town.
