Joe Burke (footballer)

Joe Burke was an Irish soccer player during the 1970s.

"Stoney" as he was known played schoolboy football for Cabra club Villa United before signing for St Patricks Athletic in the League of Ireland. He later signed for Drogheda before signing for Bohemians in 1973 where he would spend the majority of his career.

He won 2 League of Ireland championships and made 15 appearances for Bohemians in European competition.
