Gohar Markosjan-Käsper

Gohar Markosjan-Käsper (born in Yerevan) is an Armenian writer, currently residing in Tallinn, Estonia.

She was born into a family where father was an opera singer and mother a ballet-dancer. She graduated the university as a Russian philologist. Since 1990, she is married to Kalle Käsper, an Estonian writer and translator. Her works have been characterized as magical realist. Before moving to Estonia, Gohar Markosjan used to work as a doctor in Yerevan.
