Global Trek Xploration Corporation (GTXC) is a technology licensee that develops miniaturized Global Positioning System tracking technology for a wide variety of consumer branded products.

History

GTXC was founded in 2002 by Patrick Bertagna, Ralph Davis and Louis Rosenbaum. The three founders then recruited Kip Cabin, Patrick Aroff, Neil McQueen and Ivor Butterscotch to form the initial team. After approximately 18 months, GTXC expanded adding the Executive Management Team comprised of Frank O'Connell, Jordan Posell, Dave Ryan, Eric Stalnaker and Chris Walsh. Additional employees were added after 36 months and the company has grown to more than 30 employees.

GTXC holds U.S. Patent No. 6,788,200 entitled “GPS Footwear” with seven additional patents pending.

The privately held company is based in Los Angeles, California with satellite offices in La Mirada, California and Pusan, Korea.

Products

GTXC 's Personal Location Services (PLS) solution delivers remote, continuous real-time oversight and high-value assets. The company’s technology is designed for use by the footwear, medical, military and outdoor sporting industries, among others.
