VidSoft

VidSoft Inc. manufactures and distributes software that allows users to collaborate with one another on-demand from their desktops the solution combines IP-based video with audio, data sharing and instant messaging. It is deployed in more than 20 countries.

VidSoft is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA with a European office in Dresden, Germany. The company was founded in 1999 by Sascha Kummel and Robert Hess under the name VidSoft GmbH. The two technologists first began developing VidSoft's intellectual property and technologies at the University of Dresden ("TU Dresden").

VidSoft Inc., which was originally formed to be the North American sales and marketing arm for VidSoft GmbH, acquired VidSoft GmbH in early 2007.

Scott Sullivan, former COO of Meridio, is VidSoft's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kummel serves as CTO and Robert Hess is Senior Vice President of Sales and Support.
