Ulerythema, also known as Ulerythema Ophryogenes is a rareRareDiseases|5395|Ulerythema ophryogenesis; Keratosis pilaris affecting the follicles of the eyebrow hairs] congenital disease characterised by the loss of the eyebrow hairs. Children and young males are predominantly involved. Many cases occur sporadically and are presumed to be the result of an inborn defect. An autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance has also been suggested. It has been suggested that individuals with the disease should avoid sun exposure without UV protection. The disease is classified as a type of genodermatosis.
