Bopath Ella Waterfall

Bopath Ella is a spectacular waterfall situated in Ratnapura district, Sri Lanka. It has a height of 30m and a shape very similar to the leaf of the sacred Bo tree under which the Lord Buddha attained enlightenment . The word 'Bopath' is a combination of the two Sinhala words 'Bo' (Bo-tree) and 'Path'( leaves of a tree). So it is evident that shape of this fall has contributed to its name.
