Biography

Ross Leckie attended the expensive private school Fettes College [ [http://www.fettes.com/foundation/interviews/leckie.htm Fettes website] ] , where he gained his interest in classical literature. He later went to Oxford University where he studied Classics [ [http://www.canongate.net/RossLeckie Canongate] ] .

After that he worked on farms, as a roughneck and later as an insurance broker. He is now a full-time writer.

His book on Hannibal is currently in production as a film, "Hannibal the Conqueror", directed by and starring Vin Diesel.
