Lorenzo di San Severino was an Italian painter of the
Quattrocento period. He was a contemporary ofGentile da Fabriano , and with Lorenzo’s brother Jacopo, they painted frescoes of "John the Baptist" inUrbino . He painted an altarpiece of "Madonna and child with St. Catherine receiving ring" and "St. Domenic and glory of angels" for the church of Santa Lucia inFabriano , now displayed in theNational Gallery of London References
