The World Conference of Religions for Peace

The World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP) is an interfaith-religious international organization that promotes religious cooperation and dialogue. Founded in 1970 it is the largest international coalition of representatives from the world’s major religions dedicated to promoting peace.

Their members are from many faiths including, Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Multi-faith, Indigenous, Sikh and Zoroastrian, religious women’s organizations. The WCRP meets in an international conference every five years to discuss contemporary issues.

The WCRP is funded by donations from religious groups, international aid agencies such as UNICEF, governmental agencies and businesses.
