Good Hands Records is an independent
Hip hop record label founded in 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by DJ Truth (b. Charley Greenberg) and Art Beeswax (b. Lawrence Maley). In 2006, Good Hands secured a distribution deal with Traffic Entertainment Group and releasedCamp Lo "Black Hollywood",Kurupt Presents Tangled Thoughts, "Philly 2 Cali",Killah Priest "The Offering", Charon Don and DJ Huggy (Hands Down), "Art of Life", and Dev Rocka's "The Night Shift" in 2007. Killah Priest , and is slated to release the follow-up to "The Offering", "Behind The Stained Glass" in Spring 2008. Good Hands also announced the signing of Juice Crew legends Craig G & Marley Marl, and will release their album "Operation: Take Back Hip-Hop" in Spring 2008 as well.Good Hands Records earlier releases, via a joint venture with Eastern Conference Records, include Chief Kamachi "Cult Status", Chief Kamachi and the Juju Mob "Black Candles", and Reef The Lost Cauze's "Feast or Famine".
In addition to running the label, Greenberg and Maley both work vigorously at their respected side interests. Greenberg has become an avid "Monster Hunter", heading expeditions to Loch Ness in 2007 in search of the famed "
Loch Ness Monster " as well as Turkey's Lake Van in 2006 in search of the "Lake Van Monster ". He has also headed two separate expeditions to the Lake Tele region of the Congo in search of the elusive "Mokele Mbembe ".External links
