Brian Griffiths (born 1968,
Stratford-Upon-Avon , UK) is an artist based inLondon . He produces three dimensional collages using a range of sources, including old textbooks, fifties and sixties furniture, remnants of cut linoleum and polystyrene. Goldsmiths College ,University of London . He received his BA from the University of Humberside in 1992.Griffiths has shown work internationally in many exhibitions including ‘New Blood’ at the
Saatchi Gallery in London, the 2001Tirana Biennale , ‘Haemorrhaging States’ at Tent inRotterdam and ‘Hey, You Never Know’ atKenny Schachter inNew York . He is represented byVilma Gold in London andThe Breeder Projects inAthens . He participated in the 2001Beck's Futures prize and was a selector for the 2006Blomberg New Contemporaries .References
