James Hussey (born March 15 1985 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish footballer currently playing for Eircom League of Ireland First Division club Sporting Fingal. James is a goalkeeper and was capped a number of times for Ireland at Under 14 and Under 15 level. A single man who was born and brought up in Dublin he has 4 siblings; one of whom also played for UCD AFC and Bray, another is a doctor.

Career

James began his career with Bohemians after playing schoolboy football with Stella Maris, St. Joseph's Boys and Home Farm. James left Bohs without making a first team appearance before the start of the 2006 season to sign for UCD. After one season with the Students, Hussey left the club to sign for nearby rivals Bray Wanderers in February 2007 [ [http://www.betinf.com/ireland_transfer.htm Football : Irish Premier Division transfers in 2007 season] → www.betinf.com] . James' stay at Bray was short lived as he was snapped up by Shelbourne on February 27 2007 [ [http://www.shelbournefc.com/news.php?id=583 Official Squad for 2007] → www.shelbournefc.com] . Hussey joined newly formed Sporting Fingal in February 2008.
