Årdalstangen

Årdalstangen is the smallest of the two primary towns part of the municipality Årdal in the county of Sogn og Fjordane on the western coast of Norway. Årdalstangen is the administrative center in Årdal, and the main road is Riksveg 53.

The town is situated by the sea (Sognefjord) and serves as the important transportation hub for the aluminium industry. Norsk Hydro's site for production of coal for anodes is located here.
