Point Abrahamsen

Point Abrahamsen

Point Abrahamsen (coord|54|3|S|37|8|W|) is a point which separates Lighthouse Bay and Prince Olav Harbour, the two western arms of Cook Bay, on the north coast of South Georgia. Charted by DI personnel in 1929 and probably named for Captain Abrahamsen, manager of the whaling station at Prince Olav Harbour at that time.
