episode = 25Vincent Augusto Spiederman, better known as just Spiederman, or Spied. He is the lead guitarist of Spiederman Mind Explosion, and doubles as the lead guitarist for
Jude Harrison 's stage band and Karma's husband.Jude and Spiederman date for a few episodes during the second season, where their relationship goes through a series of ups and downs because of Spiederman's immaturity and Jude's obvious lingering feelings towards Tommy. They broke up because Jude couldn't seem to fit him into her life, the same reason why Jude and Jamie broke up in the beginning of the Season 2. However, Spiederman assures her that they were always more like Bart and Lisa Simpson than they were like Romeo and Juliet.During Season 2, there was tension between Jamie and Spiederman because of the fact that Spied had fired Jamie as their band manager and had, quote on quote, "stolen his girlfriend". The tension was rode out in the episode of Jude's 17th birthday where they battle, stone-aged style, while waiting for Jude to show up. Unfortunately, she and Tommy were trapped in a room and could not be reached. By the end of the episode, Jamie and Spied settled their differences to save the girl that they loved, only to find her curled up with Tommy, a sight that wasn't the best for Spiederman to set eyes on.
Spied branches off from SME during Season 3, by request of Jamie and Quest, and does a solo project. He tries to keep the fact that he's making music by himself a secret, but it isn't long before his cover is blown and his band is angry at him for lying. However, they make peace in the end.
In Season 3, when Karma comes in the picture, Spiederman ends up having an intimate relationship with her, one that she desires to keep a well-kept secret for many reasons--the main one being that the world still believed that she was a virgin. Eventually, Spied tires of keeping their relationship being kept on the down-low, and she agrees that they can go public with what they have between them. As her hunger for publicity increases, Karma begs Spied to stage a fake wedding with her a week after his high school graduation. He weakly agrees, but to their surprise, they've been legally married by a complete and shocking accident. Spiederman lived with his uncle because his parents had gone through a vicious divorce, after which he promised himself he would never divorce his wife when the time came. So, despite his anger and confusion, Spiederman refuses to divorce Karma, and they both decide to continue the marriage, realizing that they are in love, after all.
Later on, MTV is interested in following the couple around to start a Newlyweds show, something that Spiederman agrees to please his newly married wife.
Spiederman is the near epitome of an arrogant and cocky musician. He is short tempered, over protective and extremely jealous. Though he often is positive about what he wants, he is terribly immature and does not know how to react to get what it is that he desires. He resorts to name calling and teasing but has been known, despite his immaturity, to be quite the womanizer.
