Notes

*This book had the working title 'The Wicked Bungalow' [Doctor Who Magazine No. 379] before changing to Sick Building, at the request of Russell T Davies [ [http://www.sfx.co.uk/page/sfx?entry=russell_t_davies_interviewed SFX: the leading science fiction, fantasy and horror magazine ] ] .
*Although the front cover depicts the Voracious Craw with teeth, the novel actually describes it as having no teeth.
*The Voracious Craw's depiction on the front cover makes it resemble an overgrown lamprey.
*The cover also depicts the TARDIS being just a few meters away from the home, but the novel clearly states that it is located in the center of the near forest.
*This is Magrs's first Doctor Who novel not to feature his character Iris Wildthyme.

Continuity

*The Doctor refers to Peladon, a planet mostly associated with the Ice Warriors.
*In an attempt to distract the bear-thing, the Doctor randomly starts singing through the entirety of Queen's Rock Opera, Bohemian Rhapsody.

Audiobook

An abridged Audiobook version was released in March 2008. It is read by Will Thorp, who played Toby Zed in the TV series.
