- Bill Ellis
Bill Ellis (born January 3, 1950) is an American folklorist. Educated at the University of Virginia (BA, 1972) and at Ohio State University (MA, 1973, Ph.D, 1978), he is currently professor of English and
American studies atPenn State Hazleton .He was the president of the
International Society for Contemporary Legend Research and theAmerican Folklore Society 's Folk Narrative section. He is also a member of the EvangelicalLutheran Church in America. He is mainly known as a specialist ofsatanism in contemporary culture. Ellis studied also conspiracy theories involving Luciferian plots, occult forces and aliens.Works
