Emma Connelly

Emma Connelly (nee Curran) is a solicitor with the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) noted for her work on high profile sex crime cases including the successful prosecution of cult leader William Kamm aka "The Little Pebble". Her involvement in Kamm's case resulted in her receiving attention from local media including the ABC News, Sydney Morning Herald and Manly Daily.

After commencing her career in the Sydney DPP office, working closely with outspoken Director Nicholas Cowdery, Connelly relocated to the Campbelltown office in April 2007 after being recognised as a rising star with the Department. She remains the only person born and raised in the NSW country town of West Wyalong to have obtained a law degree and entered service with the DPP.

She is married to Michael Connelly, prominent Sydney greyhound owner and betting identity.
