Thomas Selby (cricketer, born 1851)

Thomas Selby (February 19, 1851 – November 6, 1924) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler who played in one match for Derbyshire during the 1885 season.

Derbyshire lost the match by an innings margin, with Selby taking the field as a tailend batsman in the first innings and a lower-order batsman in the second, while his team-mate, Ludford Docker, injured himself during the match.

Selby was born in North Wingfield and died in Shirebrook at the age of 73.
