Filipów IPA-pl| [|f|i|'|l|i|p|u|f|] is a village in Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Filipów. It lies approximately convert|24|km|mi|0 north-west of Suwałki and convert|124|km|mi|0|abbr=on north of the regional capital Białystok. In 2006 the village has a population of 1,814.
Formerly a town, Fałków had a city rights from 1570 to 1870, when, as many other former towns in Poland, it lost this status after the January Uprising.
