- Enciclopedia Italiana
The "Enciclopedia Italiana di scienze, lettere ed arti" ("Italian Encyclopaedia of Science, Letters, and Arts"), best known as Enciclopedia Treccani or simply Treccani, is an Italian encyclopedia, generally regarded as the most authoritative in that language.
The first edition was published serially between 1925 and 1936. (2007)] In all 35 volumes of text were published in addition to one index volume. The set contained 60,000 articles in 50 million words. [Alfieri, G. Treccani Degli. Articles in the work are usually signed with the initials of the author. There is an essay on "The Doctrine of Fascism" credited to
Benito Mussolini that appeared in the 1932 edition of the "Enciclopedia Italiana".ee also
