Viktor Luferov

Viktor Arkhipovich Luferov (Виктор Архипович Луферов; born May 20, 1945) is a well-known Russian songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and performer, one of the most original contemporary representatives of the genre of author’s song.

Viktor Luferov is keen on ethnographic folklore, which reverberates in his music creations.

He is the founder of the Theatre of Song “Perekryostok” (The Crossroads) (1983 – 2003) that encouraged many beginning bards. Viktor Luferov is a member of the creative association Pervyi Krug (The First Circle) and the Association of Russian Bards.
