Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area, formerly known as "Hyland Hills Ski Area", is a ski area in Bloomington, Minnesota, operated by the municipal government through the City Parks system. Hyland is part of the Hyland Lake Park Reserve. It is in the western part of the city, several miles from Mall of America south of I-494. It is a local favorite place to ski around the Twin Cities. Many high school teams practice there. Local pro snowboarder Livio has mini jam sessions every Saturday.
