Trombone Dixie

Trombone Dixie

"Trombone Dixie" is the working title of a Brian Wilson composition, recorded in November of 1965. At one time, it was in the running for inclusion on The Beach Boys 1966 album "Pet Sounds". Portions of the "Trombone Dixie" recording sessions were released on the 1997 box set "The Pet Sounds Sessions". Pieces of the song were also incorporated into "Had to Phone Ya" from "15 Big Ones", released in 1976.
