Oed has one primary school. The next secondary modern school is in Wallsee and the next secondary school is in Amstetten. Oed has a hairdresser, a church and two car-sales showrooms, as well as a store. Sports facilities with a tennis court, a football pitch and a beach volleyball place are available in addition. There is a food shop which is called "Nah und Frisch" (meaning "near and fresh"). It was formed when the two villages Öhling and Oed formed the town called Oed-Öhling.
