U.S. state ofWisconsin , with an elevation of 1,951 ft (595 m) abovesea level .Timms Hill is located in north-central Wisconsin in the Timms Hill County Park in the Town of Hill in Price County at coord|45|27|04|N|90|11|42|W|. Timms Hill is capped with a tall lookout tower offering views of the surrounding area. It is less than a mile south of Highway 86, about midway between Ogema and Spirit and about 23 miles west of Tomahawk.
Originally,
Rib Mountain was thought to be the highest point in Wisconsin. However, this was later proved to be incorrect. While Timms Hill has the highest elevation in the state, Rib Mountain has the largest height differential from the surrounding landscape.References
