Yang Guoqiang

Yang Guoqiang, Yeung Kwok Keung in Hong Kong translation, (Traditional: 楊國強; Simplified: 杨国强; Pinyin: Yáng Guóqiáng; born 1954 in Shunde, Guangdong), is a Chinese entrepreneur, the founder and chairman of Biguiyuan Group, one of the largest real estate developers in Guangdong Province, Mainland China.

Since April 2007, his family (Most of the assets are nominally held by Yang's second daughter, Yang Huiyan) has been the wealthest people in Mainland China, who owns about the assets of 45.5 billion Chinese Yuan currently.

The Biguiyuan Group was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 2007. Lee Shau Kee and Cheng Yu-Tung, two of Yang's townmates (Their native places are in Shunde), bought 1 billion of Biguiyuan IPO stocks respectively. It also attracted a lot of Hong Kong citizens to buy them. Although Yang is the chairman of the company nominally, the stocks are held by his second daughter, Yang Huiyan, instead of him. However, Yang insisted that his daughter held the stocks on behalf of Yang's family only. He will still take part in company management and will not decide to retire in near future.
