Rathinam College of Arts and Science a Co-educational Institution situated within the “RATHINAM TECHZONE” at Pollachi Main road, Eachanari, Coimbatore is affiliated to Bharathiar University and accredited with B++ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by University Grants Commission(UGC). The objective of the college is to mold the students to suit modern and technology savvy Industries. The vision of the college is to serve the students community in bringing out their maximum potential in sync with core values of the society. This College was established in 2001 by KPM educational Trust which has 35 years of experience in promoting education in Coimbatore.

RATHINAM TECHZONE

In order to inculcate a global vision with skills of international competence and keeping in mind the demand in IT sector, the management started a Software Park in the year 2002 within the college campus. At present Rathinam Software Park is operating with several National and Multinational IT/ITEs Companies. This interacts landed in a positive result with excellent Industry Institute Interaction partnership. As an expansion of the success story with management has also started a large scale IT/ITEs Park under Special Economic Zone (SEZ) scheme.

Founder

The founder chairman of the college, Dr. Madan A Sendhil is an NRI with a Post Graduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He also has work experiences in prestigious US organizations such as Motorola, Image Soft Technologies and Time Sys. With his fresh visions from USA, he started Rathinam College and Softwae Park in the year 2001. His envisioning Practical knowledge clubbed the college and the Software Park together and research oriented higher education that is easily affordable to every deserving student.
