Rad Girls

"Rad Girls" is a television show which aired on the network Fuse TV and has moved to MavTV. The show's format is essentially a female version of MTV's "Jackass" with three female performers: Ramona Ca$h, Munchie, and Darling Clementine, doing stunts that involve nudity, bodily excretions, and debauchery. According to the trio's Myspace, Fuse has decided to go with more music-based programing, thus canceling "Rad Girls". There was a petition to get the show back on the air, but their contract with Fuse TV ended in February 2008. It was aired again in late August 2008. Fact|date=September 2007. According to an [http://coolermag.com/features/-/interviews/the-rad-girls-interview.html interview in 2008] , Munchie's nickname came from high school when she used to call her friends Munch. "Then when we were getting ready for Rad Girls it kind of transferred on over to me. Munchie’s like keebler-elf style, small and cute. It just kind of fits," she says.

Clementine says: "I grew up in Florida so I’m from the south, so for me it’s the southern element. And Ramona had a box of clementines at her house. So we thought Darling Clementine, that’s perfect."

Ramona is an adopted stage name, kind of an alter ego. "I was sitting at a traffic light in Santa Cruz and I was thinking, ‘what’s a cool last name?’, and I looked out my window and there was this sticker in front of me that said Cash," she says.

The Rad Girls all began when Ramona taught Munchie how to cocktail waitress. They worked together at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California and became friends. According to Munchie, she and Darling Clementine butted heads at first. They were both dating members in the same band. When their respective relationships ended they became great friends. Munchie says that they became more like sisters really. Ramona has recently revealed that she is a lesbian, stating "It might have been obvious on the actual show, but I am, sic|infact, gay and proud". Fact|date=February 2008 Come on - is this for real?

Ramona, Clem, and Munchie call Santa Cruz home, and they started up the show there because they wanted show off its beauty. However, when they applied for the necessary permit to film in Santa Cruz the city felt the show would not depict the city in a favorable light. One idea they came up with was putting a candy bar in a public pool when it was full of people so everybody would think so it was poop. But the person they approached for the permit said it would be unacceptable because they would have to drain the pool. So instead of filming in Santa Cruz they ended up filming in L.A. While filming in LA they had a few run-ins with the law but nothing too serious.Fact|date=September 2008
