Asia Pacific

Asia

Playhouse Disney in Asia was launched in 2006. It is also a programming block on Disney Channel Asia weekdays from noon to 2:00 PM. The programs are similar to the Playhouse Disney Channel in the United States of America. However the channel may also carry some non-Disney programming like Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat, and Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs. Programming on the channel is uninterrupted by commercials. Playhouse Disney Channel is available on SkyCable channel 126 (Platinum), Global Destiny Cable, CableLink and selected cable affiliates nationwide in the Philippines, Astro in Malaysia, Indovision, First Media and Astro Nusantara in Indonesia and Starhub Cable TV in Singapore.

In both South Africa & Rhodesia it is available on ZBC and Multichocice and ZimDigital and AfriTele Networks

The channel was launched on November 2, 2002.

Germany

In Germany was launched in 2004.

Italy

Playhouse Disney was launched on May 1, 2005, broadcasting everyday showing many of the same shows the US looks.

Canada

A Canadian version launched on November 30, 2007 as a multiplex channel of Family.

Latin America

A Latin American version (one from Argentina and one from Mexico) launched on June 1, 2008. Before it became a channel, it was aired in the morning of Disney Channel Latinamerica [http://www.ansa.it/ansalatina/notizie/rubriche/cultura/20080414145634633665.html] until cable came and made it into a full 24 hour channel.

Brazil

Playhouse Disney is aired both on Disney Channel Brazil mornings and its dedicated Playhouse Disney Channel, launched in Brazil on September 5th 2008.
