- Bijan Sheibani
Bijan Sheibani (born c 1979) is an award-winning English-
Iran ian theatre director. He is currently artistic director of theActors Touring Company .Sheibani was awarded the James Menzies Kitchen Trust Award in 2003, which funded a double bill of
Harold Pinter plays that he staged later that year atBattersea Arts Centre (and which he had been a runner up for the previous year). He won the inaugural Peter Brook Empty Spaces award and the 2002 Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award, which allowed him to stage"Have I None" at the Southwark Playhouse. Sheibani also received the Cohen Bursary, which saw him serve as director on attachment at both the National Theatre studio andEnglish Touring Theatre for the year 2004/5.In 2004, he assisted
Katie Mitchell in a series of workshops exploringStanislavski and neuroscience at the NT studio.Credits
