Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire is a commune in the French department of Indre-et-Loire, located north-west of Tours, on the other side of the Loire. As of 1999 it has a population of 16,100. In 2005 the town's population was estimated at 16,421. It is the third largest city in the Tours department, behind only Tours and Joué-lès-Tours.
