Imperial Iranian Army

Imperial Iranian Army

The Imperial Iranian Army was a branch of the Imperial Iranian Armed Forces and was principally concerned with land-based military operations. The Imperial Iranian Army was one of the most sophisticated army forces in the Middle East before the terrorist regime of the mullahs in 1979. The last general to head the Imperial Iranian Army was General Gholam Ali Oveissi who was gunned down by the Islamic thugs in Paris in 1984. He was replaced by General Gharebaghi who allied with the terrorist mullahs and dismantled the Imperial Iranian Army.
