Argolidocorinthia ( _el. Αργολιδοκορινθία) is an old Greece prefecture in the eastern Peloponnese that existed from 1833 to 1899 and again from 1909 to 1949. In 1949, following the victory of the Royalists in the Greek civil war, the prefecture was split in three. The northern half became Corinth with its capital at the city of Corinth and Argolis with its capital at Nafplio; Hydra, Spetses, and Kythira in the south became part of the old Piraeus department which is now part of Attica.
