cruiseferry ordered by the Finnish ferry companyViking Line . The "Viking ADCC" was designed specifically for the needs of the short
Mariehamn —Kapellskär service. Many of her features have been designed to minimise environmental impact.The "Viking ADCC" was ordered by Viking Line from the
Astilleros de Sevilla shipyard inSpain on2007-01-29 . In June of the same year the build contract of the vessel was sold to the Spanishinvestment bank Basalease SA , who will charter the vessel to Viking Line when completed. During the summer months of 2008, a competition for naming the ship was held. The winner of the contest and the final name of the ship has not yet been published.

The "Viking ADCC" is planned to enter service on Viking Line's route between

Many of the interior features of the "Viking ADCC" were suggested by the public in a competition organised by Viking Line. Interiors of the ship have been designed by
Tillberg Design , a company that also designed the interiors of the 2008-built MS|Viking XPRS. Onboard facilities will include two restaurants, a two-deck highcafeteria , dance bar and conference rooms. Like the "Viking XPRS", the "Viking ADCC" will have separate car decks for freight and passenger cars.References
