GAME Acquisition

September 19 2006 The GAME Group PLC, Europe's largest retailer of computer and video games, acquired Gameswizards. According to [http://www.gamegroup.plc.uk/gg/about/business/ The Game Group PLC Website] , this acquisition will provide Gameswizards with an established business and a low cost entry into the Computer and Video Game market. They will also be providing Gameswizards with financial resources and expertise for a controlled store rollout, which will incorporate a consumer offer from GAME. All Gameswizards stores made the change over to GAME before the end of April 2007.Policies
GAME Australia operates a loyalty card scheme its customers, which gives points towards a gift voucher that the customer can spend in store. 10 points is given for every dollar spent. This card is free to sign up for.
People can also trade in their old games so that they can save money on new games. From time to time, GAME Australia also offers a $2 deal, in which you can trade in 4 games to buy a new one for $2. The company also runs a "Deal of the Week" scheme, which offers incredible savings on new release games.
