Timothy Anthony McDonnell (born December 23, 1937 in New York) is a Catholic priest and the current Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Massachusetts.

McDonnell was born to John J. McDonnell and Margaret McDonnell (née Looney) in New York City and received his secondary education at Cathedral College in New York. He later attended St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie in Yonkers, New York and Iona College.

McDonnell was first ordained as a priest at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York on June 1, 1963 in the presence of Francis Cardinal Spellman. Almost forty years later, Pope John Paul II nominated him as auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York and Titular Bishop of Semina.

McDonnell was appointed Bishop of Springfield on March 9, 2004 and was installed as such on April 1 of that year.
