History

North Bend High has a history. In 1908, Kinney High was built to provide a place of higher education in North Bend, Oregon. However, only one student graduated from Kinney High, as a year later it was renamed North Bend High School. The name was changed to North Bend High School because the man (Kinney) whom donated the land to build the high school on, didn't actually own the land. When the actual land-owners came to North Bend, they found a school being built on their property. North Bend has 6 main buildings-The Junior/Senior/administration building, the freshmen/library/multipurpose building, the sophomore/science/music building, the boiler room, the technology building, and the gym. There is also access to the NB municipal pool, convienantly located on campus. A technology lab for ORCO was also added onto the campus, for use by the middle and high schools.
