Jim Jeffries (born Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian comedian.

He has appeared on BBC television shows such as "Never Mind the Buzzcocks", "Have I Got News For You" and "Heaven and Earth". He has also performed spots on "The World Stands Up", "Comedy Blue" and "Edinburgh and Beyond" for the Paramount Comedy Channel.

He is notorious for the attack on him whilst performing live at the Manchester Comedy Store. The clip has now been viewed by over 10 million people on the Internet.

Jim has performed at numerous festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe, Montreal Comedy Festival (Just for Laughs), South African Comedy Festival Cape Town, Reading and Leeds Festivals and the Glastonbury Festival.

His most recent UK television appearance was as a guest on "Big Brother's Big Mouth" on 10 January 2008.

On November 14th & 15th 2007, Jim appeared on the Opie and Anthony radio show on 92.3 K-ROCK/ XM Satellite Radio Channel 202. Jeffries returned to the show on April 2, 2008 and again on April 3 and April 4, 2008. During the last visit his extreme fear of bananas was made public.

He has also featured on BBC Radio Five Live's Saturday morning sports show, "Fighting Talk", becoming known on the show for his outspoken answers and distinctive laugh.

Jim was one of the hosts of the E4 laughs at Edinburgh podcasts, showcasing the best comedy talent from the Edinburgh festival 2008

Currently Jim is filming his sitcom "The Jim Jeffries Show" and has just been offered a HBO 1 Hour Comedy Special.
