Two Harbors, Minnesota ) is the founder of the Fearless Living Institute, an inspirational and life-changing speaker and bestselling author. She created the Wheel of Fear and Wheel of Freedom transformational methodology that supports anyone in mastering their emotional fears including fear of rejection, fear of looking stupid, fear of being unlovable or unworthy, etc. She is perhaps best known as being the lead life coach on the reality TV series "Starting Over". During her run on the show, she, along with her co-hosts,Iyanla Vanzant , Dr. Stan Katz, and the crew won a Daytime Emmy; a first for any reality show.Rhonda was named "Starting Over's" most valuable player by The New York Times and was the heart and anchor of the show all three seasons of its run. On the show, she was known for her sense of humor, and her firm yet kind way of showing women how to change their lives. Rana Walker did not return the second season to "Starting Over".In her twenties, she appeared in episodes of "
Married...With Children ; and Perfect Strangers". Prior to "Starting Over", she starred on a UK show called "Help Me, Rhonda", where she helped men and women take charge of their lives in 30 days. She starred on this show for two seasons. She is the only life coach that has starred in over 500 episodes of reality television.She was the middle child, and was the target of her divorced father's physical and emotional abuse. At the age of 14, she was the only witness to her father shoot and kill her mother and then shoot himself, which was one of the reasons she does the work she is involved in. Rhonda believes her father killed because he was driven by fear and her mother stayed in the abusive marriage due to her own fears. She has two sisters.
She is the author of four best-selling books.
