Campbell Cooley (born January 13, 1966 in Pensacola, Florida) is an American actor who presently resides in New Zealand.

He attended the University of Louisville where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre. In 1997, he moved into acting for film and television.

In 1998 (during a four month period), he played three different villainous roles in . One of the roles gave him the distinction of being victim to Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) in the infamous 'Drool scene' from the episode, In Sickness and In Hell.

In 2004 he had the privilege of working with Sir Anthony Hopkins in a one-on-one scene in The Worlds Fastest Indian.

One of his favorite acting jobs was on New Zealand's medical soap opera Shortland Street in 2005 as nurse 'Liam Todd', caregiver to Dr. Chris Warner’s twin sister, Amanda (Marissa Stott). It is one of the few major guest roles the show has ever created for an American.

Campbell is currently starring in a series of Australian television bank ads for Rabo Plus. He is also a skilled voice-artist and comedian, having done numerous radio ad campaigns along with regular voice work for Power Rangers.

He is also an award-winning short-film maker. His first short ‘The Hit’, (made for $95) went on to immediately win several awards and was purchased by The Rialto Channel. It has also screened in Australia and the United States. His second film, ‘Mrs Bracegirdle's Woodlyn Park Adventure’ (made for $450) was only submitted to one festival but nearly took the top prize (which was won by a film made with government funding). 'Mrs Bracegirdle's...Adventure' has also screened in Germany. His newest short film, ‘The Heist’ has also been purchased by The Rialto Channel, is currently screening in several festivals across Europe and has also screened on Australian TV.

His writing and directing style tends to mix extremely dark comedy, bizarre costumes and elaborate musical sequences; with his stories having a propensity for surprise endings.

He is also a proud member of the Screen Directors Guild of New Zealand.
