It is not the first program to offer a cube-style virtual desktop management feature on Windows operating systems, but it is one of the better executions of the idea in the Win32 environment.It is mainly used by XP users to generate desktop management features which were introduced in Vista.

Yod'm 3D maps four virtual desktops to a cube and allows the user to switch between them, similar to the cube plugin for the
Compiz and Beryl window managers for the X Window System. Known limitations
Under version 1.4 it's not possible to change the wallpaper for one of the additional desktops permanently by right-clicking an image file and selecting "set as Desktop Background". You have to change the wallpaper via the Properties dialog.
Desktop icons cannot be arranged for individual sides of the cube. They are the same for all sides.
