The Kosovo Basketball League usually refers to the professional division of
Kosovar basketball competitions for men, officially named after the sponsor Siguria Superleague. Ten to twelve teams compete each year in two separate phases. The most popular teams include Sigal Prishtina, Trepça, and Peja.Despite the political status of
Kosovo , basketball competitions have been legally organized since 1999 under theBasketball Federation of Kosovo licensed by theUnited Nations Mission in Kosovo and theGovernment of Kosovo .
