UNYP was established in 1998 in cooperation with State University of New York at New Paltz [http://www.newpaltz.edu] and State University of New York Empire State College [http://www.esc.edu] . UNYP was granted an official state recognition by the [http://www.msmt.cz Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports] in 2001 on the basis of accreditation of its study programs in Business Administration and International European Relations. UNYP is an accredited member of the [http://www.the-bac.org British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education] .

UNYP offers a Master’s in Professional Communication and Public Relations program in cooperation with La Salle University [http://www.lasalle.edu] (USA).

UNYP offers MBA programs in cooperation with Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch (Switzerland).

UNYP is a member of [http://www.cambas.cz Czech Association of MBA Schools] (CAMBAS), since 2003. UNYP is a member of [http://www.aacsb.edu AACSB International] since 2005. UNYP is a member of the [http://www.amcham.cz American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic] since 1999.
