Seven Seas is a brand of salad dressing now produced by Kraft Foods. While at Anderson-Clayton in the 1950s, Warren Leruth developed a pourable, nonseparating dressing that became the forerunner to Seven Seas salad dressing. The flagship product, Viva Italian, has now grown to include several other harder to find flavors each available in 16 oz. plastic bottles. In an effort to broaden its appeal, Kraft now markets its Seven Seas dressing as Dressing and Marinade. At the same time, they have discontinued many products including Viva Creamy Italian which has a cult following.
