Former host of the programme "The Album Chart Show" on the UK's Channel 4 and the "Dream Ticket" on BBC 6 Music.Mace conducted interviews with John Cleese, Prunella Scales, and Andrew Sachs as part of the release of the British comedy series "Fawlty Towers" on DVD in 2001.

Professional life

Mace is not only a broadcaster, but also a producer. After devising and producing Mighty Truck of Stuff, a children's TV show for independent UK producer Endemol, Joe was formerly head of Entertainment Development for [http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc] BBC Children's in London. He is now head of adult entertainment development at the BBC.

Prior to this Mace co-presented the BBC's flagship Saturday morning children's programme The Saturday Show alongside Dani Behr. He has presented a wide variety of television programmes, including Liquid News, Celebdaq, and The Holiday Show.

In 2005 BBC 6 Music asked Mace to broadcast his own radio show.

Mace also co-wrote and co-starred alongside best-friend Ben Dunn in a 6-part sitcom, Joe's Pop Shop that appeared on BBC's UK Play in 1999.

Personal life

Joe was born one of two children in October 1971 in Kennington, London and is a life-long fan of the football club West Ham United. Joe was best man at the wedding of ex-West Ham captain Steve Potts in 2002. He currently resides in Clapham, London and is married with two children.
