Geoffrey de Saye

Geoffrey de Say (1155 – 1230) was an English nobleman, and Magna Carta surety.

He held land at Edmonton [ [http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=26935 Edmonton - Manors | British History Online ] ] and Sawbridgeworth. [ [http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=22107] , [http://www.history.ac.uk/cmh/gaz/herts.html] ] He had family claims to larger estates, but they had gone to the kinsman Geoffrey Fitz Peter, 1st Earl of Essex.
